2019 Edition of Worship Songs on Repeat

Integrating Music in to Our Home

Both Christian and Country music are my favorite music genres. However, if I’m honest, I listen mostly to Christian worship music. I do really love both Ed Sheeran (I know he’s not country) and Thomas Rhett. Anyone out there love “Die a Happy Man” and “Life Changes” as much as me?

Oftentimes in the morning I come downstairs before the kids get up for school and make myself a pot of coffee. Almost immediately I turn music on. I find that putting music on in the morning sets the tone for the day and not just for me but, my children. There’s just something so precious about hearing my children sing along to the music that I have on. To hear my children worship God is priceless to me.

I very much believe this excerpt from, “Sing!: How Worship Transforms Your Life, Family, and Church by Keith and Kristyn Getty:

“We need to make singing Bible truths second nature to our children, a “second language” in our homes. Sing about those truths when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down, and when you get up. Sing with your kids as you put them to bed at night, or you sit down for dinner, or as you drive in the car with a CD on. Sooner or later, they’ll start singing unprompted. Join in with them.” Keith & Kristyn Getty

7 Worship Songs to Play on Repeat 2nd Ed.

I’m typically a repeat song offender… I play the same songs over and over again. Actually last year’s post, “The 7 BEST Worship Songs to Play on REPEAT” is a true representation of 7 of the songs most played in our home even today. You should definitely follow that link and listen if you haven’t, they won’t disappoint. You may want to bookmark both links, trust me, these songs are awesome. Be blessed!
